Fabian Global Forum was launched by The Fabian Society in May 2002 to develop ideas and build consensus for a progressive response to globalisation. It is based on the belief that much good can come from globalisation but only if it proceeds with due respect for equality, justice and peace. The site publishes essays, articles and information about globalisation based on these principles.

The site also asks readers to respond to published pieces and encourages replies by the authors themselves.

The Fabian Society is the UK's only membership based left of centre think tank. Providing an arena for open-minded debate, the Society's programme aims to explore the political ideas and the policy reforms which will define progressive politics in the future.
